There are numerous factors to strength training and weight lifting simply than lifting a few weights and waiting for muscle to build. For those that are serious about becoming bodybuilders, then they must understand the other factors that account for the bodies that they want. One of these factors is the duration of the strength training exercise. Simply doing the exercise until they feel like their muscles are more like rubber bands is not the approach to take, sadly though, many beginners do this. They then find out later that they are actually doing more harm than good.

For those that are just starting with their weight training, they will want to start with three sets of each exercise, with twelve to fifteen reps inside each set. So thus, the person will ultimately end up doing around thirty-six to forty-five repetitions of this exercise. For those that are truly beginners and find that this goal is just too intimidating, they can lower it. For those that are a bit more experienced they can higher the amount of strength training that they do.

Duration is one of those factors that the person can change up in order to get the most out of their workouts and it is also one of the best ways to increase the performance that they put forth.
