Is There Really an Arthritis Cure?

Because arthritis has become a very “popular” disease today, people are finding ways to totally eliminate the problem. But is there really a cure for any of the arthritis diseases? Is there an arthritis medication which can take away the causative problem of your disease? Well, the answer is no.
Rheumatoid arthritis treatment comes in many ways. Aside from the medications and the surgeries for arthritis, there are several other therapies which help a lot in the cure of arthritis. To name a few are: hydrotherapy, massage therapy, paraffin dip, and a number of exercises. With the use of these treatments, a patient will be relieved not only of the pain but the inflammation of the joints as well. If these are done continuously, the ill person will be able to go back to his normal way of living again.
Arthritis treatment can be given to alleviate the patient’s condition and to make the patient feel as comfortable as possible. But to eliminate the root of the problem is quite impossible; since we all know that arthritis is a genetic problem, nothing can “erase” it as it runs in your system already. The list given below will explain how each form of treatment can provide for a temporary relief from arthritis.
Arthritis Cure through Medications
Arthritis cure through medications is impossible. However, they help tremendously in putting your disease on a resting stage. The medications can control several symptoms of your disease such as the inflammation, pain, and stiffness of the joints; but it can never take them away.
Once in a while, your symptoms will attack; but if you regularly comply with the treatment regimen given to you, the chances of disease occurrence would be unlikely. This is why doctors stress the importance of religiously conforming with your arthritis drugs; for without them, it will be impossible to relieve you of the symptoms your are experiencing.
Arthritis Cure through Surgery
The best arthritis cure that is considered today would be surgery. Because an operation fixes your bones, joints and ligaments, it can very well remove your arthritis problems. However, this form of arthritis cure does not mean that you are totally safe from another disease attack.
Although most of your symptoms may have been removed by the surgery already, your genetic problem is still at large. Since genes are the cause of your problem, it cannot be taken cared of by surgery. Like the medications, surgery will give you a temporary arthritis cure. Through time, the disease will emerge again and will attack your system the second time around.
Arthritis Cure through Other Therapies
Another considered treatment would be the variety of therapies available. Like the two treatments mentioned above, the other therapies for the disease can not be considered as an arthritis cure. Therapies like natural remedies, paraffin wax treatments, exercise and diet can only alleviate a part of your arthritis symptoms; but they cannot fully eradicate the origins of your disease.
It is a good thing that several forms for temporary arthritis cure are being generated in our world today. This alone is a big help to those who are experiencing the pains of arthritis. What people need to do is to be thankful for the variety of treatments available. Gratitude to these innovations can be shown through compliance with whatever treatment the doctors give you. After all, it is you who will enjoy all the benefits you can get from an arthritis treatment.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a progressive autoimmune disease that causes chronic joint inflammation and soft-tissue swelling. Rheumatoid arthritis usually affects the peripheral joints like hands, feet, wrists, and knees and the surrounding muscles, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels. Rheumatoid arthritis can also involve internal organs like the lungs and heart. An autoimmune disease like rheumatoid arthritis means the body tissues are attacked by your own immune system. Ultimately, this leads to joint destruction, functional disability, and decreased quality of life.

There are many type of arthritis namely osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Some scholars consider gout as also one of the major type. Many types of arthritis may affect different areas of the body. As mentioned above, the swelling or inflammation is the general reaction of the body. During this reaction, all the protective blood cells rush to the affected area to fight against the cause of the problem. They clear the damaged cells and repair the hurt tissues. Once the war against the causative factor is won, the inflammation goes away and area comes to its normal size with normal color.

RISK FACTORS

Smoking: Rheumatoid arthritis is associated with long-term smoking. Stress: Persons with rheumatoid arthritis have a higher incidence of stressful life events in the 6 months preceding onset of the disease as compared to the general population. Genetics: HLA-DR4, a genetic marker, is associated with increased chance of having rheumatoid arthritis. Ethnicity: All races and ethnicities are affected by rheumatoid arthritis. Environment: There is no specific environmental factor that causes rheumatoid arthritis. Diet: There is no specific diet or food that causes rheumatoid arthritis. Infection: There is no known specific infection that causes rheumatoid arthritis. THE PROBLEM

The current theory is that a person who is genetically predisposed to rheumatoid arthritis encounters a trigger (infection, toxin, chemical) in the environment that starts an abnormal immune response, an autoimmune process. Rheumatoid arthritis occurs when white blood cells leave the blood stream and attack the lining of the joints.

Fortunately, there is natural healing and natural cure for rheumatoid arthritis in order to alleviate the pain associated with the disease. Removing acidity from your blood to reach an alkaline level is well advised. A good ph levels can only help.A study by the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm has also found that people who drink five glasses of wine a week halve the risk of rheumatoid arthritis.

STATISTICS

The prevalence of rheumatoid arthritis in the U.S. is about 1% which means that it affects 2.1 million Americans. There are 3 new cases per year per 10,000 persons. Rheumatoid arthritis most often starts between the ages of 25 and 50; peak onset is between 35 and 50. It is 3-5 times more common in women and 4 times more common in smokers than non-smokers. If one twin has rheumatoid arthritis, there is a 15-20% chance the other twin will develop rheumatoid arthritis. You deserve a better life with less pain. How to Treat Arthritis in Dogs and Hip Dysplasia in Dogs

The most common dog arthritis is osteoarthritis which is a degenerative disease in the joints where the cartilage will need remodeling, and then the new bone causes the arthritis. The dog arthritis symptoms are usually a gradual onset of limpness in the limbs. In other words lameness will result to where the dog finds it difficult to walk. Most often a dog will also be less likely to be active such as walks, playing, or even going up stairs.

Dog arthritis begins as a gradual limpness in the affected limb or limbs and may progress to lameness. An advanced case will reveal itself as a dog that is less active in play, on walks and generally has difficulty walking. The stiffness and pain are more likely to be pronounced in the morning or after a nap – when the dog has been sleeping in the same position for some time. During the day when the dog is most active, the pain is generally minimal.

A dog afflicted with arthritis will tend to feel pain if their limbs are touched near to where the joint is inflamed. There is usually swelling as well, but this will not normally be visible to the naked eye.

Arthritis medicine is available for dogs who suffer from the condition – this can treat the inflammation. Many dog owners instead opt for more natural methods of treatment for their pet, finding them more helpful in many cases. Glucosamine and MSM are two popular natural dog arthritis treatments (they are also used in humans with arthritis). A lot of experts in the field think that arthritis is best treated by a combination of MSM, Glucosamine and Chondroitin.

Depending on the cause of the arthritis in dogs you may need to have medication for your pet. Some types of arthritis can be taken care of with a healthy diet and exercise. Obesity in dogs is one cause of arthritis. By helping the dog to maintain a natural weight for their size and eating a healthy diet you can eliminate the pain of arthritis. The joints may still experience some lasting effects; however this is minimal damage that can be treated with more glucosamine in the diet as well as other herbs.

Many times, just a change in diet can be enough to treat the symptoms of arthritis in dogs. Especially in tandem with exercise, diet can relieve arthritis in many dogs. Just as in humans, obesity can lead to arthritis. If the animal is kept at a healthy weight, then much of the pain of arthritis will simply disappear.

www.superfoodhealthyliving.com Aim for maximum absorption. Spread your calcium supplements out over the day rather than taking them all at once. Magnesium, calcium and phosphorus are all essential for proper bone growth and density. Try to get 1000 milligrams a day of calcium, even if you haven`t reached menopause. And they suggest 1200 to 1500 milligrams a day for postmenopausal women who are not getting ERT. Most women consume far less than those amounts. Reaching 1000 milligrams through diet alone means drinking a quart of skim milk a day or eating two cups of low-fat yogurt or four cups of low-fat cottage cheese. Figure out, realistically, how much calcium you can get through your diet, then make up the rest with supplements. Dark green, leafy vegetables such as spinach are excellent sources of calcium. Get enough vitamin D. For maximum protection, aim for 600 international units of vitamin D per day (three times the Recommended Dietary Allowance). Plant derived trace minerals are the best source of invaluable trace minerals. Minerals are the building blocks of the enzymes necessary for the utilization of all other vitamins, etc. (rock minerals are a waste of money since only 5-15% can be broken down by the body before being eliminated. Minerals already digested by plants are potentially 100% absorbable.
